Overview
The Spring Retreat has been designed to provide a lively and informal retreat atmosphere to promote collegial discussions about some of the complex issues facing Northwest professionals in the evaluation, treatment and supervision of sex offenders. The goal of the retreat is to network, share ideas, and have some fun! Certificates of Attendance will be provided.
Hotel Accommodations
Salishan is offering us a special standard room rate of $129.50. This special room rate is only guaranteed through February 23rd, so don’t delay! Rooms may be available after that date, but it will be a first come/first served reservation. This rate is available for the nights of 3/7 through 3/13. Hardship/Scholarship Registration

- OATSA offers a limited number of hardship awards for professionals experiencing temporary financial hardship and one scholarship award to a student who demonstrates strong interest in pursuing a career with sex offenders

Note: The exact schedule has not been finalized, but will be similar to that described below. Topic discussions will include Cultural Competence, Self-Care, Working with High Risk Offenders, Static/Stable Updates.

This workshop will examine the use of restorative practices for people interacted by sexual trauma, including individuals in community-based treatment after committing sexual offenses, individuals who have experienced sexual harm, incarcerated people, community members, and family/friends of those impacted by sexual trauma. www.alissaackerman.com
